Miriam David is a lino print maker living and working in Sydney, Australia.
Her work and research engages with the way in which mythical and ritualistic contexts, hold illusory qualities inhibiting iconographic symbols, conceptual metamorphic transformation.
Primarily her work focus' on the oscillation between life and death and the whimsical connection between the two. Working with lino plates, cutting tools and black ink, her work is a poetic exploration of personal memory, human relationships and love.
